This workshop is designed for new EEG technologists and those studying for the ABRET board exam.  In this two-day, in-person hands on event, you will learn to measure the head, prep and apply electrodes, maintain skin integrity, activate a recording and check impedances.  We’ll also cover seizure classification, troubleshooting, coding and billing and share tips on setting up a successful, efficient EEG laboratory environment, and more.  An introduction and video demonstration to ambulatory EEG (AEEG) is also covered.

New for 2023:  An optional EEG Pathway III Measurement Assessment Workshop on Sunday and for those preparing for the ABRET exam, an EEG Board Prep session on Saturday.  Starting January 2023, ABRET has added a new Live Remote Proctoring Exams.  Learn More.

The workshop combines lecture plus hands-on practicum in small groups led by EEG technical experts.  Your registration includes the materials for the course, including a disposable electrode starter kit, mannequin head, USB drive with handouts of the lectures and lunch both days.  A digital certificate of attendance will be sent after the course. 

ASET has approved this program for 17.5 CEUs. To receive these CEUs you must have an ASET ID number and attend both days.  

Limited Enrollment

To ensure the best learning environment, enrollment is limited. Registrations are taken in the order they are received. Tuition must be paid in advance to guarantee your space. Written confirmation, the course schedule and hotel reservations instructions will be sent to the email address provided.

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Disney Springs Resort is located at 2305 Hotel Plaza Blvd., Lake Buena Vista, FL  32830.  The Orlando Airport, (code MCO) is a short 15-20 minute ride away.  Cadwell has secured a block of rooms at a special group rate. Please make your reservations early before the group sells out.

Airline Reservations

Participants are responsible for their own airline reservations. Please do not make non-refundable airline reservations. Cadwell is not responsible for the refund of travel or hotel expenses under any circumstances

Cancellation Policy

Cadwell reserves the right to cancel the course within 14 calendar days of the start date. In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled, 100% of the tuition will be refunded. Participant cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the course receive a tuition refund minus a 20% administrative fee. The nature of the “interactive” aspect of the course from an equipment and instructional standpoint dictates that an optimal number of participants be maintained. Therefore participant cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date, including no-shows, will result in the tuition being non-refundable and non-transferrable to a future date.
